Tis' true, the Angry Irishman bent the rules with hot sauces, now they have broken the laws of dry rubs!
For the bold, flavorful, concoction created to enhance your smoked meats. This coffee based rub was formulated for beef, but would also work will with venison, pork, or whatever your imagination can dream up.
Ingredients: Brown sugar (sugar, molasses), salt, coffee, onion powder, garlic powder, and spices (less than 2% calcium carbonate added as a natural anti-caking agent)
Two words... "JavaNacho Jalapeno".
Tortilla chips covered with shredded quesadilla cheese - add pickled jalapeno slices judiciously.
Sprinkle Red Aye rub liberally over the whole thing.
Micro for 45 seconds, top with salsa of choice in dibs and dabs...
Change your world view.
'Nuff said. Buy this stuff!
I have zero connection with the company - never heard of it until my daughter gave me a shaker of this stuff for Father's Day. I have no idea if it's a good rub - I just like sprinkling it on eggs... and Mac-n-cheese... and watermelon... and corn on the cob...
Anyway, you get the point. Adds a toasty, earthy goodness to things that need a little something. It's not a hot spice - just tasty. 100% worth the cost.
