Have been using all kinds of mustards forever. I am not normally a gourmet mustard person (I am cheap) Found this on sale at a great price and bought about 6 of them. They are great. Just the right amount of heat, not to kill you but enough to give it great flavor. If you don’t like high heat, it may not be for you, but as mentioned it is not over the top where you can’t eat your sandwich. Just great.
So when I ran out, I had to buy more regardless of the price and ordered 12 direct from the company at a really good price (qty discount) and am set for a few months as well as I have some to give to friends as gifts.
Love their mustard. Try it!!
I bought my first bottle of Parker's Gourmet Ghost Pepper Smoked Maple Mustard last summer at a craft festival in Lincoln, NH. First time I used it I was addicted...I put it on everything!!! I finished the jar and quickly ordered 6 more. If you like sweet smokey heat and mustard I highly recommend - you won't be disappointed!!!
Uncle Tom taught me hunting growing up in the Adirondacks and he make a special sauce called Moose Meat Mustard, Crazy hot spices blended with maple syrup -Loved it. I tested this at the old family farm in Vermont and it brought back so many memories -and has created so many more. Its not the gentle heat or the sublet aftertaste -but the INCREDIBLE BALANCED FLAVORS in this that make it #1 with me over ANY hot sauce I have ever had in 40 years, and I've lived in AZ, Texas, Charlotte...etc.
Hands down the best mustard (flavor and heat) I have ever had.
