The Habanero Pepper originated in Central America and was cultivated by the Mayan and Incan civilizations. The Mayans were also known for their human sacrifices.

This sauce will tantalize your taste buds before it sets you on fire with a fierce, fire roasted habanero burn, making you wish that you were the one being sacrificed. Xibalba, the Mayan underworld, awaits you.

Try “Sacrifice” on burgers, eggs, in chili, on pork, or in a stir-fry.

Well balanced. Incredible flavor/texture

Well balanced flavor. Good habanero/apple flavor to start with a hint of lingering ghost pepper. Smoky but not excessive. No single flavor overpowers another. I'm a big fan of savory thick sauces and this one hits the spot.

For a habanero sauce its pretty warm. But, heat level should be reasonable for a good portion of people.

Probably going to make this a staple sauce of mine.

The Gift

The only thing my boyfriend asked for for Christmas was some of his favorite hot sauce (we’ve been out of Sacrifice for a few months)—so I got him a dozen, a year’s supply (he put it’s on nearly everything). When it was finally time to open that box, “The Big Present”, he’d forgotten all about what he’d asked for so was practically giddy, like a kid being presented w/ five pounds of candy :) shipping was quick and really, for a year’s worth of happiness, the price was better than I would’ve dared to hope. Thank you, Angry Goat, for making his holiday wish come true!

This is the Cherry I Want on Top of My Birthday Cake

I picked up a bottle of Goat Rider after seeing it on Hot Ones and really liked it, despite not traditionally enjoying smoky or chipotle-like sauces much. It was just so well-balanced. So when I saw a local liquor store carried the brand I decided to give Sacrifice a try after reading the ingredients. Not only does it taste exactly like ripe, orangey habanero fruit, the spice level is high without becoming uncomfortable, and it doesn't overstay on the palette. I added some to my mushroom ramen broth and it was like a drug. As close to perfect as any sauce in my collection. Gonna force all my friends to try it.

I’ve tried hundreds of different types of hot sauce in my life other than one of my buddies homemade sauces This is the best hot sauce I’ve ever had one of the most flavorful and the perfect amount of heat I buy cases of 12 at a time and they usually last about a week in my fridge!

Delicious

An excellent hot sauce, redolent with the fire-roasted habanero heat. While those uninitiated in capsaicin masochism may be turned off, the heat is not lonesome, for there is a fantastic balance with flavor, which is precisely what I seek and enjoy in my hot sauces. It is a regular occupant of my fridge shelf when possible. 5/5
